Royal Mail unveils AC/DC stamp collection

The items are expected to ship in mid-February

The UK’s Royal Mail commemorates AC/DC’s 50th anniversary and upcoming European tour with stamps and collectibles. The collection features 12 stamps filled with memorable images and insights spanning 50 years of the band’s electrifying legacy.

The Presentation Pack brings to life the band’s meteoric rise, from their early days to global stardom, with stunning visuals capturing their high-energy performances and biggest hits.

The Miniature Sheet, presented in a separate carrier, pays tribute to iconic albums that have stood the test of time.

Accompanied by expert insights from music journalist Jason Draper, this souvenir is a fitting tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

The AC/DC Platinum Albums Miniature Sheet is a remarkable, limited-edition tribute to four hugely successful platinum-certified AC/DC albums. The set has been reproduced with a stunning platinum finish with selective embossing and colorization featuring record covers for High Voltage, Highway to Hell, Back in Black, and Power Up.

The four stamps are set against the distinctive artwork from the 2008 album Black Ice, and enhanced by the eye-catching shiny platinum finish throughout the design.

The platinum sheet is safely housed in a protective capsule and comes presented in a deluxe all-black slipcase with a large silver-foiled AC/DC logo.

A limited edition of 1,975 individually numbered souvenirs is available worldwide in honor of the release date of the band’s electrifying debut album High Voltage in 1975.

Additional items include album fan sheets, stamp books, medal covers, postcards, framed items, and more. Orders are expected to ship in mid-February.

The Australian rockers continue its Power Up Tour with stops in Czech, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, Estonia, Sweden, Norway, France, and Scotland this summer. The European trek follows the band’s return to North America this spring, where they will play 13 stadium shows. The run kicks off on April 10th in Minneapolis at US Bank Stadium, covers the continent, and concludes on May 28th in Cleveland at Huntington Bank Field. Along the way, they will play some of the most iconic and historic stadiums, including the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, on April 18th and Soldier Field in Chicago on May 24th.
