Ramsbury lane has ‘most unusual romantic name’ – Royal Mail

Love’s Lane made it on to the list picked by Royal Mail after it analysed its database of 32 million addresses in the UK .

Situated in the pretty village of Ramsbury, 15 minutes outside of Marlborough, the lane runs through stunning countryside views.

Posties will be delivering to 121 ‘Love Lanes’ this Valentine’s Day as well as some more unusual romantic themed street names around the UK, Royal Mail revealed.

Ian Evans, head of Royal Mail’s address management unit, said: “We thought it would be fun to analyse our database of addresses to look into some of the quirkier romantic themed names.

“Our posties will be helping spread the love this Friday delivering cards and gifts, and I’m sure they’ll have a smile on their face on all the Love Lanes and Valentine Roads.”

Unusual street names across the UK include Long Lover Lane, Sweet Pea Close and Honey Bottom.
