North East sex offenders up in court including a pervert postman whose victim took her own life

These are the North East sex offenders who caused long-lasting misery for their victims to satisfy their own sickening desires.

This week, Newcastle Crown Court heard how a victim of a pervert postman sadly took her own life while on the phone to Royal Mail about how the abuse and the way it was handled had impacted on her mental health. Her abuser, who also targeted four other women, has now been jailed for six-and-a-half years.

A separate case at the same court just days earlier also heard how a woman was raped as she was bent over being sick. She was found by a friend crying and repeating “I said no” following the horrific abuse.

And in a third case a young girl was raped on an old sofa in an alleyway. Police attended and dragged her abuser away, who claimed he was trying to help the victim when confronted by officers.

These sex offenders appeared in North East courts in recent weeks.
