Virgin Media is giving a free smart TV or £200 as it revives a popular deal to attract new customers. Days after Sky unveiled its new Sky Glass Gen 2 smart TV, its biggest rival is giving new customers the chance to snag a free 43″ Hisense 4K smart TV worth £399 when they sign up for select TV and broadband packages.
There’s also the option to take £200 off monthly bills instead of the TV, equating to up to three months of service entirely free. Virgin’s bundles provide access to more than 200 TV channels, with some plans including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema at no extra cost.
This allows members to catch the latest Premier League matches, the entire upcoming Formula 1 season and the latest Hollywood blockbusters. They also come with Virgin’s ultra-fast broadband, boasting speeds of up to 1,130Mbps and no setup or activation fee, reports the Mirror.

All of the Virgin contracts in the deal run for 18 months, shorter than the 24-month plans offered by competitors like Sky. However, the free TV offer is now only available for one week and will end on Monday, March 3.

Customers who opt for the Mega Volt bundle will also benefit from Virgin’s WiFi guarantee, which usually costs £8 per month and promises a minimum download speed of 30Mbps in every room of the house or a £100 refund. Virgin has also introduced the One Touch Switch process, which allows customers to switch providers without having to contact their current one.
However, it’s worth noting that Virgin, like most providers, is set to increase its prices every April as inflation rises. For example, the monthly cost of the £65.99 plan will rise to £69.49 from April 2026. Elsewhere, Sky has unveiled its new and improved smart TV, the Sky Glass Gen 2.
Prices start at £29 per month for the 43″ model and come with access to more than 100 channels, including Sky Atlantic, as well as free Netflix and Discovery+ subscriptions.
