‘Exciting’ changes coming to this North Staffordshire park

Work is underway to revamp a popular North Staffordshire park – where visitors are being promised ‘enhanced’ facilities. Caging has gone up at Clough Hall Park where a raft of improvements are being carried out.

The works come after the popular Kidsgrove beauty spot had been shut for just shy of two months after a mini-tornado had ripped through the town. Now families are being promised an ‘improved experience’.

Newcastle Borough Council had previously gone public with two concepts for the park with families asked to complete a survey. Posters have been pinned up at the park detailing just what can be expected when the works are completed next month.

The project will include a new footpath, revamped sports court, vegetation removed, and a new play area boasting facilities such as a rope pull-up ramp, slide, and climbing wall. The project got underway this week and is expected to be completed by April 30.

Works are underway at Clough Hall Park

A poster pinned up at the beauty spot states: “We are excited to inform you that refurbishment works will begin in Clough Hall Park on March 17. These works are to enhance the facilities and improve your experience.

“We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time. We are committed to making Clough Hall Park a better place for everyone to enjoy.”
