Vicky Pattison has revealed her fashion idol – as she has launched her own 27 piece collection in collaboration with Little Mistress and Matalan.
The reality star, 37, who has this week unveiled a selection of ‘sleek dresses, tailored jumpsuits, casual blouses and statement skirts’ – among other items – told FEMAIL of the stylistic powerhouses she looks to for inspiration.
And it may come as no surprise that one of the nation’s most revered clothing aficionados, the Princess of Wales, topped her list.
Calling Kate Middleton ‘the people’s princess’, former Geordie Shore star Vicky praised her ‘very elegant’ and ‘sophisticated style’.
The TV personality, who made appearances on Ex on the Beach and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! also lauded the future Queen for often recycling her elegant ensembles.
‘It’s very financially savvy,’ she said. ‘Fair enough that’s not why she does it, but it’s still a great thing to do.’
Vicky also loves Victoria Beckham – because she ‘has a style and sticks to it’.
‘Those two are the main ones I’m influenced by,’ she added. ‘I love women who look really chic and smart instead of relying on trends.

‘It’s such power play to be like, “I like this.”‘
Vicky also revealed she ‘cringes’ a lot at her past fashion faux pas in the noughties.
‘It was the time for self exploration,’ she reflected. ‘It’s the time to kiss the boys we shouldn’t and try the clothes we shouldn’t.’
The star admitted some of her past looks would ‘definitely raise a couple eyebrows’.
‘But it was before the digital age really kicked off so there’s not a lot of evidence!’
She explained that for her, the 2010s were marked by a lot of ‘sale rack shopping’ and ‘strange trends’.

‘We wore tops as dresses… there was a lot of ‘skin is in’, ‘underwear as outerwear… fedoras… Definitely some things I regret!,’ Vicky recalled.
It’s a far cry from her new collection, which features a stunning selection of flowy florals and business-chic waistcoat and trouser looks.
She explained that she had worked with ‘various brands’ in the past but with this project really wanted to push the idea of ‘inclusive for all’.
‘I just want all women to feel really great,’ she added, explaining that her collection is available in sizes 8-22 with prices starting from £18 which she is ‘really proud of’
‘I understand it’s difficult but I’m proud to keep flying that flag,’ the reality star revealed. ‘Fashion should be fun and comfortable. We’re all really proud.’
‘There’s plenty of soft tailoring and floaty fabrics,’ Vicky continued, saying that there’s something for everyone, be it a hen or brunch with the girls.
‘We’re incredibly excited to unveil this collection with Little Mistress and Vicky Pattison,’ said Matalan’s Buying Director, Laura Wiard.
‘The collection reflects the latest trends, while ensuring we stay true to Matalan’s mission of providing stylish fashion at accessible prices. We can’t wait for our customers to experience the pieces instore and online.’
