Royal Mail van convoy halts Fulwood traffic in tribute to Preston man

More than 40 Royal Mail vans turned out and joined the funeral procession from the depot in Pittman Way, Fulwood.

A number of them then travelled through to the Crematorium in Longridge Road for the Tuesday lunchtime service.

Nick worked at the Royal Mail’s Christian Road depot and was described as a ‘well respected colleague and friend to many’.

Donations in Nick’s memory are to The Isabella Rose Foundation care of Neal Buckley Funerals, 6 Liverpool Road, Penwortham, PR1 0AD or call 01772744700.

Nick leaves behind his wife Lizz, children Jack, Charlie and Jessica, his mother Cora and his siblings Shaun, Neil, Martin and Meghan.
