Iceland is rolling out changes for students, with younger Brits able to get 10 per cent off at the till for the fifth month of the year.
Iceland is launching a new 10 per cent discount on Wednesday for people in a certain age group. Iceland, which has stores in Birmingham, is rolling out changes for students, with younger Brits able to get 10 per cent off at the till for the fifth month of the year.
Richard Walker, executive chairman at Iceland Foods, said: “At Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we’re on a mission to do the right thing by our customers.
“This month, we know that cash-strapped students will be studying and completing their exams, so the last thing they need to be worrying about is food prices. That’s why we’re giving them 10 per cent off in stores, every single Wednesday throughout May.”

The deal will be on offer across Wednesday, May 7, Wednesday May 14, Wednesday May 21, and Wednesday May 28. Students will be handed discounts at Iceland or the Food Warehouse, depending on where they shop.
Iceland terms and conditions (T&Cs) for the deals and discounts say students will need to show shop workers a valid student ID. There is no minimum spend required for the discount, and students are being told they can only claim it for in-store shops.
That means you cannot claim it for online orders, Iceland says. Separately, you can order shopping from Iceland via Amazon? Get £10 off your first shop with this deal. Iceland shopping via Amazon is only available in selected locations – just visit the website to see if your local stores are participating.
You’ll get £10 off a £70+ spend with code ICEDEAL70 and it includes exclusive products from the likes of Greggs, TGI Fridays, Cathedral City, My Protein and Blue Dragon.
David Devany, Chief Customer & Digital Officer, Iceland said: “We’re committed to helping our customers shop the way they want and access our great value products whenever they need them most.
“Partnering with Amazon is yet another way that Iceland customers can get their hands on our exclusive brands and freezer favourites. This is also an exciting opportunity for us to introduce new shoppers to the benefits of shopping with Iceland.”
