A merger between two big delivery firms will create a business which delivers more than a billion parcels a year.
Evri will merge with German firm DHL’s UK ecommerce business, as reported by This is Money.

DHL is set to buy a significant minority stake in the firm, which is owned by private equity firm Apollo.
The deal will see Evri entering the British business letter market for the first time. It believes it will offer significant competition to Royal Mail, delivering up to a billion letters a year.
The deal will give Evri, named by Ofcom as the UK’s worst parcel delivery service for customer satisfaction in 2023 and 2024, access to DHL´s network in Europe, the US and some Asian markets.
The merged business will operate as Evri Group, with 30,000 couriers and van drivers, and 12,000 further workers.
