The Griffin Inn in Oswestry has a rich history, dating back to the 17th century.
Originally a house, it was later converted into a public house.
It was re-fronted in the 18th century, and the building still retains its timber frame.
The inn was formerly known as the Unicorn Inn and also housed the Royal Mail Horse Post.
Today, the Griffin Inn is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, serving food seven days a week.
The current landlords, Gary and Carol Brennan, have been at the pub for 10 years.
The Griffin Inn hosts the Oswestry Royal Naval Association and has a strong darts scene.
