Royal Bank opens first office in India (The Globe and Mail)

Royal Bank of Canada confirmed on Friday that it is entering the Indian market by opening a representative office in Mumbai. “The strong growth of the Indian economy presents huge opportunities,” said chief executive officer Gordon Nixon, who flew over for the launch.
