“The neighbourhood policing team in Henley will be policing the town and will be on hand to provide support to the local community as normal.

“In order to ensure members of the public can enjoy the Regatta in a safe and secure environment, Thames Valley will provide both a visible and non-visible presence in Henley throughout the week.

“We expect to see a large number of visitors to Henley, which will increase traffic and congestion throughout the town centre so we ask that motorists be patient and follow the local authority’s traffic advice.

“We would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant and if you see or hear anything unusual then please report to an officer on site or by calling 101 or 999 in an emergency.”

Henley Royal Regatta 2025 marks the 186th year of the event which will see hundreds of crews competing from Tuesday.
