A POPULAR Royal Mail service is down leaving customers unable to send parcels.

The majority of customers appear to be facing issues with its Click & Drop service, which allows users to purchase and print postage labels online.

Around 56% of users said they cannot access the website, while another 39% are having trouble logging in.

Some customers said they have been unable to use the service since Friday evening.

Many have now taken to social media to complain about the issue.

Writing on X, an angry customer said: “Click and drop has been down since 6pm yesterday, usually Royal Mail send emails to say there’s an issue and your working to fix it, but this time there’s been no communication.”

While another chimed in: “Over 100 parcels to send on Royal Mail account click and drop but page showing as not working.”

And a third said: “We have packages to send out tomorrow morning, and no way of booking them out at the moment.”

On Facebook, one customer branded it a “shameful level of service”.

They added: “[The website] still will not let you log on as you cannot access the business login page.”

The Sun has approached The Royal Mail for comment.

It comes just days after the postal service was told it can deliver second-class letters every other weekday and not on Saturdays to help cut costs.

From July 28 Royal Mail will deliver second-class letters on alternate weekdays.

Ofcom said that a reform to the Universal Service Obligation (USO) was needed as people are sending fewer letters each year.

As a result stamp prices keep rising and the cost of delivering letters goes up.

Meanwhile, Royal Mail profits have dwindled and the company has lost hundreds of millions of pounds.

Could you be entitled to compensation?
