Branding agency Absolute has restructured into two specialist agencies after 26 years, aiming to provide clients with clearer pathways to brand-led growth.
The company will now operate as Absolute Agency, focused on brand strategy and development, and Absolute Nexa, a new digital development agency.
Chris Hodgen, founder and managing director of Absolute, said: “This is not simply a restructure – it’s a strategic evolution.
“Businesses today don’t want a one-size-fits-all agency, they want deep expertise powered by data and insight.
“By creating two specialist agencies, we’re giving our clients the confidence that whether they need a brand to lead their market, or a platform to scale their business, they’ve got the right experts by their side.”
Absolute Agency will continue its work in brand positioning and development, while Absolute Nexa will focus on building and scaling bespoke digital platforms.

Both agencies will share central operations, with Mr Hodgen serving as group managing director.
Gemma Illidge, head of digital at Absolute Nexa, said: “Our clients want digital platforms that are built to grow with them – adaptable, scalable, and underpinned by insight.
“Nexa’s focus on UX and digital development means we deliver exactly that, while working alongside the brand team to ensure creativity and technology reinforce each other.”
Absolute Agency’s client roster includes Redrow Homes, Manchester City FC, Carrs Pasties, and Edge Hill University.
Absolute Nexa works with clients such as H2 Gambling Capital, Eric Wright Group, and Queen Margaret University.
The launch of Absolute Nexa is part of what the company describes as a “strategic evolution” rather than a simple restructure.
The restructure is intended to support businesses in achieving sustainable growth by combining brand strategy with digital development expertise.
