A free annual event for print and its associated industries, hosted by the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), is returning to London on December 10th, at St Bride’s Church.
Carols for Printers, is organised by the BPIF alongside the Graphics and Print Media Alliance (GPMA), Joint Industry Committee for Mail (JICMAIL), Printing Industry Confederation (Picon), The Printing Charity, St Bride Foundation, and Unite.
The carol service, as with previous years, will host the St Bride’s choir at 6pm, who will sing a range of Christmas carols along with the congregation. A series of readings will also be presented by printing industry representatives during the service.
After the carol service, mulled wine and mince pies will be served at the back of the church, with attendees given the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and the wider industry.
Speaking ahead of the event, the BPIF says: “This special evening is a highlight in the printing industry’s festive calendar, bringing everyone together to mark the start of the Christmas season in a truly memorable setting. Join us for an unmissable Christmas celebration dedicated to print.”
Alongside the aforementioned organisers, the event is also supported by Two Sides, the British Coatings Federation (BCF), and the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA).
Bettine Pellant, chief executive officer of Picon, adds: “It is a privilege for Picon to support the Carols for Printers service, a cherished tradition that brings our community together.
“It’s an opportunity to meet with friends and industry colleagues and who can resist a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie afterwards. As far as I’m concerned, this carol service means that Christmas has started – come and join us.”
