UK-based HubBox secures €6.8M in funding to grow its pickup-point delivery software and further develop its operations and partnerships.

London-based HubBox, the provider of out-of-home (OOH) delivery software for e-commerce retailers, has raised £6M (nearly €6.81M) in funding.
The round was led by the UK’s Puma Growth Partners, which provides growth capital to scale-up businesses. The firm invests between £4M and £10M in companies across the UK and works closely with management teams to support expansion and strengthen operations.

Shifting delivery toward pickup points
Founded in 2015 by Sam Jarvis, Claire Jarvis, Greg Beszant and Jon Pawley, HubBox aims to address problems linked to failed home deliveries and the rising use of alternative delivery methods.
The platform allows retailers to offer local pickup points, giving customers additional collection options while enabling couriers to group parcel volumes more efficiently.
The company’s software integrates with more than 1,000 retail systems and is used by retailers across the UK, Europe and the US, including GAP, Selfridges, Gymshark, Birkenstock and Macy’s. The system works with OOH (out-of-home) networks operated by major couriers.
HubBox’s business model is built around partnerships with carriers such as UPS, DPD, Royal Mail, Asendia, PostNord and DHL.
The company claims that its Funded License Program, which allows couriers to cover software access for retailers for an initial period, has supported wider adoption and strengthened HubBox’s position within the OOH delivery sector.
Capital utilisation
The funds will help HubBox grow in the UK, Europe and the US. It will also help the company deepen its work with couriers and bring in more retailer clients.
