The 68-year-old is accused of committing offences against seven women between 1983 and 2016.
Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has today pleaded not guilty to four counts of rape, nine counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual assault.
The former DJ and TV presenter arrived at Southwark Crown Court in London on Monday morning (December 8) wearing a black hooded coat over a maroon shirt and black trousers, before being arraigned on all 15 counts.
The court heard that three of the alleged indecent assault offences allegedly took place at the BBC Studios in 1996. The 68-year-old is accused of committing offences against seven women between 1983 and 2016.
The court also heard that Mr Westwood, of Westminster, stands accused of having raped women, kissed them and touched their bodies without consent.
He is alleged to have committed four indecent assaults in London during the 1980s, as well as three indecent assaults at the BBC in the 1990s. The defendant is also alleged to have raped a woman in a hotel in 1996.
Two further indecent assaults are alleged to have taken place during the following decade, in the early 2000s, as well as one count of rape at a London address. Two further counts of rape are alleged to have been committed at a London address in the 2010s.
Mr Westwood is also accused of having sexually assaulted a woman at a nightclub in Stroud, Gloucestershire, in 2010.
He was granted bail by the court but ordered not to contact the complainants ahead of a pre-trial review hearing, which will take place on a date to be decided in December next year.
Judge Tony Baumgartner set a provisional trial date for January 25, 2027, before Mr Westwood left the dock.
