Royal Mail delivery delays – CR5, SE22, SE24

The London postcodes experiencing delays today (January 15) are CR5 (Coulsdon), SE22 (East Dulwich), and SE24 (Herne Hill).

Royal Mail said: “We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week.

“In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors.”

The company has said it will rotate deliveries in the affected areas to minimise delays for individual customers.

Royal Mail apologised for the disruption and assured customers that additional support is being directed to the most heavily impacted offices in order to help restore “the high standard our customers would normally receive.”

The company encourages customers who have received a ‘Something for You’ card to check the Royal Mail website for the latest information on Customer Service Point locations and opening hours.

Royal Mail has said it will regularly update customers on the offices most impacted.
