Dereham post box in disrepair for more than a year fixed

The box, on Quebec Road, was shown to have damage on the brickwork and be sticking out towards the pavement.

One local described it as “dangerous, ill-used and neglected”, while another said it was “clearly a failed repair”.

It has since been confirmed that the Post Office has repaired the pillar, with photos showing its new state.
