Oxfordshire ‘high-risk missing person’ found after manhunt

Thames Valley Police has said a search was ongoing today, Tuesday, February 24, including multiple police teams.

The missing person has been described as “high-risk” and, following the manhunt, has been found safe and is now receiving support.

A spokesperson for Cherwell unit said: “Police community support officers Tillyer and Roberts have been out on foot patrol throughout the day, supporting our colleagues on Incident and Crime Response and the Neighbourhood Team during the search for a high‑risk missing person.

“Thanks to their diligent patrolling and determination, they successfully located the individual, who is now safe and receiving the support they need.

“A fantastic result and a great example of teamwork across our policing teams.”
