What will happen in Industry season 4 episode 8?

HBO released a trailer for Both, And, suggesting that Yasmin Muck (played by Marisa Abela) reconciles with her husband Henry (Kit Harington) after bringing him down alongside corrupt fintech firm Tender in the penultimate episode. In the trailer, Henry is left clutching a magazine bearing his face on the cover with the headline: “Britain’s shame: Comeback capitalism.”

Labour MP Jennifer Bevan (Amy James-Kelly), who weathered Tender’s fallout, declares in a television interview: “Criminally-minded anomalies but Tender is not an anomaly. The market apparatus will always find its useful scapegoat.” This is followed by Harper Stern (Myha’la) furiously typing on a keyboard. The preview then cuts to France, where an elated Yasmin announces: “Remember, babe, it’s Paris. Anything could happen.”

A group of individuals are shown raising a toast at a long table, suggesting that Yasmin and Harper have joined forces following last week’s deal. Nevertheless, the pair still appear to be at loggerheads as Harper receives some tough love when Yasmin cautions her: “We both know that this world will own you if you don’t harden up.”

Later, Harper confides in Kwabena Bannerman (Toheeb Jimoh): “I wanna protect myself.” However, he bluntly responds: “Not at the cost of everything else. That’s too high a price.”

Viewers are then treated to a montage of Industry’s characters, with the final shot returning to Harper as she tells Kwabena: “It’s not for me.”

A brief synopsis from the BBC for the upcoming episode reads: “Following Whitney’s (Max Minghella) bold move in the US, Yasmin and Henry are left with the albatross Tender has become.

“Yasmin seizes the chance at a new opportunity, while Henry considers whether to challenge the status quo.

“Meanwhile, Harper sends an investor letter. Harper, Yasmin and Henry face a moment of reckoning as the real question becomes: who’s going to stay afloat?”

Previously reflecting on the secret to the show’s success, creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay said: “People don’t want slop – even if they are increasingly fed it. Audiences are very smart and they want rigour and to feel like creators are fully engaged in what they’re making and not wasting a viewer’s time.

“Part of that is not drawing out an hour’s worth of story into eight hours. We’d almost always side on doing eight hours of story in an hour if it was a binary choice.

“Ultimately, we entertain ourselves hugely as we write it and we think that sense of fun, provocation and humour translates to screen.”

Will there be another season of Industry?

Yes! The programme has been recommissioned by HBO for a fifth and final season.

Creative duo Kay and Down said in a statement as per Variety: “We’re privileged to have joined the small, esteemed club of dramas that have run for five seasons on HBO.”

They later said in the statement: “For some time now we have been thinking about how best to end the show on an unparalleled high.

“Unlike some of our characters, we know when to leave a party. We’d like to thank our evangelical fan base, especially those who have watched from day one.”

After expressing gratitude to the cast and crew, the duo thanked US broadcaster HBO: “Seeing the HBO ident in front of our work will never stop being a thrill.

“It remains the best place to make television, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration well into the future.”

Industry season 4 concludes on HBO and HBO Max in the USA on Sunday, March 1 and on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Monday, March 2
