The return follows the closure of the North Town Post Office in Aldershot, which closed in January 2025 after operating from 62 Redan Road.
The Post Office has confirmed that services will be restored at a new site in Melita Stores, 90 Holly Road.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said: “We are keen to restore service as possible.”
The new branch is expected to open in May or June and will operate seven days a week.
Planned opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 7am to 9pm, and Sundays from 8am to 9pm, offering 95 hours of service each week.
The spokesperson said: “The new branch will offer everyday banking services including cash and cheque deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, and balance enquiries.”
Customers will also have access to Royal Mail and Parcelforce services.
A public consultation is underway, closing on March 27, 2026.
