On the opening day of the inquest into Mr Phillips’ death at Avon Coroners Court on Tuesday (March 10), the court heard the provisional cause of death listed on his medical certificate was ‘stab wound to the abdomen and buttocks’.

A police investigation into Mr Phillips’ death is ongoing. A total of nine people have been arrested in connection to the incident. Five people have so far been charged with murder in relation to Mr Phillips’ death.
