Ex-royal butler reveals what King Charles thinks about Meghan’s brand | Royal | News

Meghan proudly announced that she was partnering with Netflix at the time of her brand’s launch last year, but the partnership was announced last week as ending. Meghan is said to be relieved that she will be “going it alone”, with her reportedly planning to expand the brand.

Mr Harrold has claimed that the King would be in support of As Ever – and would even display Meghan’s products at his home during visits from Harry.

Speaking on behalf of CasinoHawks, Mr Harrold said: “I don’t think the King would mind if Meghan decided to launch her products here in the UK, it won’t be an issue. If anything, I think they will be happy that she’s continuing to focus on her product range rather than making her cash from tell-all interviews and books.”

Discussing whether the King would purchase from As Ever, he added: “I would be surprised if the King and Queen buy any of their products, but never say never. It could be a good way to show that relations are going in the right direction.

“If she does launch in the UK, I imagine – or hope – that she would send them a few jars to try. And if she did, I think the King would definitely make sure they were out if Harry ever visits – just as a subtle little sign of support and an olive branch.”

Speaking of other members of the family, in particular the Prince and Princess of Wales, Mr Harrold said that he doesn’t think they are ready to support Meghan yet due to the ongoing feud.

He said: “But I’m not sure the other royals are there yet, I can’t see Kate and William rushing out to buy anyway.”

A spokesperson for Meghan said after the Netflix “split” announcement, “As Ever is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year. We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth, and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”
