City poised to buy historic post office (Fernandina Beach News-Leader)

Fernandina Beach Commissioners were expected to accept Tuesday night a non-binding letter of intent from the U.S. Postal Service to purchase the historic Centre Street post office building and take on its multimillion-dollar renovation and operating costs.
