Brockton post office dedicated to Rocky Marciano (New England Cable News)

(NECN: Brockton, Mass.) – The blue collar boxer they called Rocky Marciano has won another title today. The post office in his hometown of Brockton, Massachusetts was dedicated to the ex-heavyweight champion. Marciano retired from boxing April 27, 1956 as the only undefeated heavyweight champion in boxing history. He was 31. Tomorrow marks the 53rd anniversary of Marciano’s retirement.
