Arizona Sen. John McCain wants Meg Whitman to be California’s next governor. The former eBay chief executive has not formally declared her candidacy, but spokesman Mitch Zak said Wednesday that she will pick up the 2008 presidential candidate’s endorsement Friday at an event in Orange County.
