SAN FRANCISCO -(Dow Jones)- General Motors Co. raised eyebrows Friday when it said it aimed to sell new cars on eBay Inc.’s (EBAY) online marketplace, but the ecommerce giant appears to have been caught off guard by the auto maker’s announcement.
