Southeast Texans Applying For Food Stamps Has Risen 11% (KFDM Beaumont)

For a growing number of families in Southeast Texas.. food stamps are the difference between eating and going hungry. A spokeswoman for the Texas Health and Human Services department told KFDM news.. the number of people getting food stamps in Jefferson County has increased 11% in the past year.
