Ebay Ends Patent Suit With MercExchange (AP via Yahoo! Finance)

Ebay Inc. says it settled a long-running patent dispute with technology company MercExchange LLC. The San Jose, Calif., online auctioneer has agreed to buy the three MercExchange patents it has been accused of violating.
