Vets receive Christmas gifts (The Newport Plain Talk)

The Lakeway Area Red Cross brought Christmas to the veterans who live in assisted-living homes. Local merchants and the AMVets made donations towards presents like fruit baskets, phone cards, toiletries, T-shirts, socks and hats, and stationary items such as pens, pencils, and stamps.
