The family members and friends of a Royal Oak hair stylist found dead in Detroit plan to host a fund-raiser May 4 at Memphis Smoke restaurant in Royal Oak. The goal is to raise money for a reward to help solve the crime, Michael Gurry, co-leader of the volunteer group Justice for Jeremy, said Wednesday.
