Government records show just four years ago, 213 billion pieces of mail went through our nation’s post offices. Today, it’s down to 190 billion and it’s expected to keep dropping. The postal service blames e-mail and a weak economy. To save about $3 billion a year, post office officials are considering rolling back mail delivery from 6 days a week to only 5 days a week.
