City officials will soon begin discussion with the U.S. Postal Service regarding acquisition of the historic post office building on Centre Street. Fernandina Beach Commissioners voted 4-1 on Tuesday to authorize City Manager Michael Czymbor and City Attorney Tammi Bach to negotiate the purchase.
