FedEx Corp., one of the major delivery services for online retailers, reported continued strong growth in its home delivery service for its fiscal third quarter, which ended Feb. 29. But it was a rare bright spot in a report that blamed lower earnings on a weakening economy and higher fuel prices and predicted more trying times ahead.
