Supervisors Say No to Fast Food for Food Stamps

Fresno County residents who receive food stamps will not be able to redeem them at fast food restaurants. The Fresno County Board of Supervisors shot down the controversial proposal during a meeting Tuesday morning. The decision means food stamp debit cards will continue to only be used for food at grocery stores and some farmers markets. County Supervisors were split 3-2 on the proposal.
