Why eBay Wants to Buy GSI Commerce

Auction giant eBay ( EBAY ) said Monday, Mar. 28, that it will buy GSI Commerce ( GSIC ), a King of Prussia (Pa.)-based provider of e-commerce and marketing services for a whopping $2.4 billion in cash and debt.
