A key change for Club Shop online orders – News

Fans using our online shop from Friday afternoon onwards will notice a difference when reaching the Checkout page.

For all UK orders we will no longer be using Royal Mail and will instead be offering two choices for postage, depending on how quickly the order is required.

There will be a Standard Delivery option through EVRi, offering a fully tracked service taking a maximum of three working days and a Premium Delivery option which offers a next working day delivery with DHL. The Standard Delivery will be priced at £3.95 and the Premium Delivery at £6.50.

Head of Retail Mat Haylock explained the change and what it will mean for supporters ordering with us.

“Online orders represented over two thirds of the Club Shop’s income last season and we’re continually trying to improve that experience for Wimbledon fans.

“Processing mail order is always the first job every morning and we have unfortunately seen far too many occasions where Anthony, Megan or myself have worked hard to get orders shipped on the same day, only to find out that they haven’t arrived at their destination over a week later. I’m confident that this change will fix that.”

“Our shop team will be learning the new system in real time on Monday and will then find out what time daily collections will be. Once we are aware of this, we’ll be able to provide a cut off time for the Premium next day service.”

Please note that the click and collect service is still available and international orders are unaffected by this change.
