A royal thumbs up! Princess Beatrice flashes grin as she leaves swanky private members club Oswald’s

Princess Beatrice looked elegant as she departed Oswald’s in central London last night following a meal at its new and exclusive restaurant.

The Princess of York, 35, gave a thumbs up as she was spotted outside the building while waiting for a taxi to take her home.

She opted for a jade green dress with a flowing skirt that appeared to be from one of her favourite designers, Beulah, and a black leather handbag to accessorise.

Despite unseasonably chilly June weather, the royal mother-of-one opted not to wear tights and braved the cold without a jacket.

Her strawberry blonde locks were worn neutral and hanging down her shoulders, while the Princess opted for little make-up to enhance her natural glow.

The princess was all smiles as she stepped out of the at la Loma private member’s club, at around 11pm last night following a dinner.

The club, which is part of private club Oswald’s, located in Mayfair, is popular among royals and other A-listers with Beatrice’s sister Eugenie having celebrated her wedding anniversary there last year.

The Beckhams are also regulars at the Mayfair club and even Prince William has enjoyed a rare night out at the luxury club after attending last Christmas.

Just last week, Beatrice showed her caring side after she surprised a nine-year-old girl who has leukaemia during a special visit to visit the young girl’s art exhibition at Christie’s in London.

After hearing about Poppy’s wish at the Art of Wishes Gala last year, the princess was keen to meet the nine-year-old and view her artwork.

Beatrice, whose mother, Sarah Ferguson, 64, has recently grappled with breast cancer and skin cancer, was seen giving the young artist a warm hug before being given a tour of her impressive exhibition.

The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of York cut an elegant figure for the occasion and donned a pleated black satin skirt and chic blazer with statement gold buttons.

After embracing the nine-year-old who is living with leukaemia, a type of blood cancer, Beatrice smiled for a photograph with Poppy’s family, including her mother, Stephanie, sister, Daisy, and founder of Art of Wishes, Batia Ofer.

The exhibition, which opens to the public for one week in May, includes 28 of Poppy’s paintings that visualise her cancer journey.

It’s likely that Beatrice will have to step up for her family in the upcoming months as several of the royal family are out of full time action as they battle ongoing health issues.

Last month, Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie along with cousin, Zara Tindall, stepped up to organise a garden party on behalf of Buckingham Palace with Prince William in a display of their support.

A royal insider claimed the three cousins are of the price ‘want to support Prince William and King Charles’ unique circumstances’ and are ‘closer than most cousins’.

Speaking to Hello!, a royal insider commented on the royal women’s bond and why they wanted to help William with the event.

The source said: ‘They are closer than lots of cousins might be – they have that unique shared experience and unusual life they all lead.

‘This is an institution that they all belong to, perhaps in slightly different ways in terms of how they serve it, but they all believe in it and its future and want to do what they can to support it.’

Thankfully, Beatrice’s mother, was recently given the all clear following her cancer diagnosis and the royal appeared on ITV’s This Morning to tell audiences she was ‘thriving’ following a ‘bumpy health scare last year’.
