After the fallout from Harry and Meghan’s Oprah chat, Kate Middleton ‘confided’ in non-royal.

According to a royal expert, Kate Middleton was “upset” by Meghan Markle’s remarks that her sister-in-law had made her cry, so she sought support from her brother James Middleton.

According to a royal expert, Kate Middleton relied on a non-royal family member to help her deal with the fallout from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s infamous Oprah interview.

After leaving the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan sat down for a candid interview with US host Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.

The couple discussed reports that Meghan made Kate cry during an argument with her future sister-in-law during the explosive conversation.

During the interview, however, the Duchess of Sussex – who has consistently denied these allegations – suggested that Kate was the one who made her cry, but she refused to go into detail about the events.

Now, royal commentator Neil Sean claims that the Duchess of Cambridge confided in a non-royal family member because she was unable to respond directly to these comments.

“The backlash from his [Prince William’s] younger brother really hit Kate hard… She was upset about the ongoing stories of ‘who made who cry,’” Neil said on YouTube.

“You can imagine how difficult it is when you can’t respond to that kind of story because the story takes off and people start making their own judgments; was Kate a bad person, was she not?

“There was one person she could truly confide in and trust, and she knew it wouldn’t go any further.”

“It was none other than Kate’s brother James Middleton in whom she confided to such an extent that he has become her rock.”

James, Kate’s younger brother, married Alizee Thevenet this summer in a small ceremony in France.

He is a businessman who also serves as an ambassador for the Pets as Therapy charity, largely to avoid interfering with his sister’s royal life.

“It appears that Kate turned to James during these trying times because she liked his calm demeanor and, of course, his wise counsel,” Neil continued.

“This isn’t to say she didn’t want to turn to her husband, Prince William, but she was aware that he already had a lot on his plate and didn’t want to add to it.”

“The outlandish claims allegedly made by the former were what really irritated Kate at the time.
