After Three Decades At Rising Fawn Post Office Gross Is Being Reassigned

Benita Gross, Rising Fawn’s part-time postal clerk since 1982 and through several postmasters, will miss the old post office when, around February, she is transferred out and another clerk takes over as part of the U.S. Postal Service’s downsizing and reorganization of its rural outposts (see accompanying story).
