Customers are being urged to check their kitchen cupboards, fridges and freezers after a number of food products were recalled from various supermarkets.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issues recalls for a variety of reasons, including when products contain allergens that are not disclosed on the packaging or if plastic is detected in the item.
When a product is recalled for any reason, the FSA shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item and detailed information on why it has been pulled from sale. Here are the latest product recalls.

Aldi
Aldi is recalling Inspired Cuisine Baby Potatoes with Herbs and Butter because it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

Tony’s Chocolonely is recalling two Large Hollow Easter Eggs because they may contain pieces of metal which makes these products unsafe to eat. The Easter Eggs had been available to buy through various outlets including popular supermarkets – Asda, Tesco, Morrison’s and Sainsbury’s.
