AllPay cards dispatched in preparation for kiosk closure

More AllPay cards are being dispatched to Council Tax and business rates customers.

From Monday 23 January, AllPay cards will be sent out to residents and businesses who have recently paid their Council Tax or business rates using a payment kiosk at Waltham Abbey Library or Epping Forest Civic Offices.

The self-service kiosk at Waltham Abbey Library was removed last week (18 January) as the library is closed temporarily for 8 weeks. The payment kiosks at Epping Forest Civic Offices will be removed on 31 March 2023.

AllPay cards

AllPay cards have been sent out to Council Tax and business rates customers who have made a recent payment at any of our payment kiosks. The cards are accompanied by a letter, that explains how and where you can use the card.

Your card and letter should arrive within 2 weeks of being dispatched (delays may occur due to the recent postal strikes by Royal Mail).

Making payments

Direct Debit remains the best way to pay. You can set up a Direct Debit or pay online via our website.

We understand many customers prefer to pay for our services in cash and appreciate face-to-face contact; AllPay cards give customers this option at their local Post Office or PayPoint.

There are approximately 60 Post Office and PayPoint locations within the district, many of which are open 6 days a week, meaning you can visit at a time that is convenient to you.
