eBay UK said last week it is seeing an increase in shoppers who are using smartphones to buy vehicles on its site, providing a big boost to eBay's mobile GMV. Vehicle purchases made via smartphone on eBay UK increased more than 120% between 2010 and 2011, and are on track to increase again this year.
