Amazon PS5 restock is rumoured to be taking place this week with 46,000 available

This week, a rumoured restock of the popular Playstation 5 console was announced for major retailers Amazon, Currys and Smyths.

So far, due popular demand, previous restocks have sold-out in minutes as shoppers flooded UK sites in a desperate attempt to bag a console.

Gamers will be delighted to hear that there’s still hope, as a possible second restock is on the way from tomorrow (18 March).

Here are the sites rumoured to drop more stock:

Popular gaming leaker and YouTuber Jake Randall has revealed on his YouTube channel the exact date and time that Amazon will release 46,000 PS5 consoles this week, confirming the long-awaited date of release will be March 18th.

One of the other biggest PS5 drops is expected to take place at Currys, where customers can sign up for priority passes now. Currys will then select random entrants and send a Priority Pass to them, complete with a PS5 buying code. These codes will be valid for 72-hours only.

Other gaming insiders have revealed tips on Twitter, with PS5StockAlertUK using the social media platform to provide desperate gamers with constant updates on stock levels and releases of the console since it officially launched last November.

But it’s not all good news as there have also been reports of customers being sent Royal Mail scam text messages after ordering a console – reported by Birmingham Mail this week. So, make sure you take care with any online transactions.
