The annual Jason Ginnelly Memorial Football Match will take place on Sunday.
Jason, who worked as a postman, and was actively involved with Holy Trinity football team, both as a player and manager, died in 2017 aged just 42, and his family, friends, team mates and work colleagues pay tribute to him through an annual football match fundraiser.
The match will again be played between Holy Trinity and Royal Mail Newark.
Kick off is 12.30 pm at the YMCA Sports Facility, Lord Hawkes Way, NG24 4FH.
It will also include a barbecue and refreshments after the match at Holy Trinity Community Centre on Boundary Road.
There will also be a grand raffle, tea, coffee and cake
All proceeds from thiis year’s event are for mdna – the motor neurone disease association.
