ASHEBORO — The U.S. Postal Service announced the opening or extending of Saturday retail hours for the Asheboro Post Office, 1030 S. Church St., during the last two weekends before the Christmas holiday in 2013. The extension will affect Asheboro only on Dec. 14 and Dec. 21, when it will be open from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
