On Sept. 11, the La Jolla Historical Society will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the La Jolla Post Office, 1140 Wall Street, with birthday cake and refreshments offered from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend the free event, said society member Janet Evans, who helped organize the party.
