The former has been designed to be an informal, engaging and enjoyable concert for people living with dementia, along with their friends, family and carers.
The latter will see Claire Henry work with musicmaking machines to create musical experiments with players from the orchestra, introducing the young audience to the thrills of music.
The philharmonic orchestra began its partnership with Barrow in January last year, thanks to the Cumbrian town’s status as an Arts Council England Priority Place.
