Basingstoke Deane Rotary set to impress with charity concert

RESIDENTS who are running out of ideas for Christmas are encouraged to book a charity concert for their loved ones.

Tickets for the Basingstoke Deane Rotary Charity Concert featuring the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines would make a great Christmas present, the band say.

For some years Basingstoke Deane Rotary has been privileged to host the Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines at The Anvil in Basingstoke, playing to full houses.

Those who have attended have previously recalled the wonderfully talented musicians, the wide variety of music, and the range of emotions they bring with their performances.

The band are delighted to welcome the Collingwood Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines who will be playing at the January concert.

Residents can expect music from the movies, swing bands, comedic pieces, popular classical songs often used in TV adverts, and good old-fashioned tunes known by all generations.

The Chelsea Pensioners will again make this a very special event.

The event takes place on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
